THERAPEUTIC RATIONALE:

The female genital tract is very susceptible to microbial infection, especially infections like trichomonal, chlamydial, and candidal. Malnutrition, poor hygiene further impair host response, increasing susceptibility to vaginitis.
FEMIPLEX contains potent astringents like Saraca indica, and Symplocos racemose, which arrest excessive vaginal discharge. Ingredients like Berberis aristata, Tinospora cordifolia, exert anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, and immunity enhancing actions and hence, FEMIPLEX effectively treats vaginitis and minimizes recurrence.

INDICATIONS

  1) Excessive vaginal discharge due to fungal / bacterial / protozoal infection
  2) Abnormal / excessive vaginal discharge associated with pregnancy
  3) Recurrent vaginitis

DOSAGE

  Tablets: 2 tablets twice a day till discharge stops, followed by 1 tablet bid for three months to check recurrence.

DO'S AND DONT'S

Do 's
  1) Maintain good hygiene of the vaginal area.
  2) For any vaginal discharge or itching, take medical advice immediately
  3) Wear undergarments which fit well and which absorb moisture eg.cotton
  4) Do eat balanced meals and healthy food, and get the right amount of sleep.
  5) Do take your medicine regularly.
Dont 's
  1) Avoid excessive vaginal douching with strong chemicals which can cause harm
  2) Avoid wearing nylon undergarments, which can lead to inflammation and itching of the vagina.
